Anthony joined Coxeys in 1998 and now heads up the team. He always has his eye on the future and succession planning to ensure Coxeys continue to offer the best service for clients. Clients say he is very approachable and good at answering questions without the jargon. Outside of work he enjoys watching the mighty Red Dragons, socialising with friends and spending time with his 2 sons.

Joanne came to Coxeys in 2013 and was made a director in 2021 and heads up the accounts and audit department. She enjoys meeting new people and facing new challenges, always finding innovative ways to help clients succeed. Outside of work Jo loves spending time with her children and family.

Charles joined the Coxeys team in 2019 and heads up the Chester office. Charles has been an accountant in Chester for many years and has built up a well established practice with a great local reputation. Charles is a lifelong Everton fan and enjoys time away from the office with his family.

Michael joined the business in 1974 and is genuinely interested in, and as a result, has a great rapport with clients, many of whom he has known for many years. This is one of the reasons he enjoys the business advisor element of his role.

Martin has been an accountant in Chester and Saltney since 1982. He has always specialised in small businesses and has a lot of experience from acting for a wide variety of clients. Away from work, he is interested in travel, UK canals, and groundhopping in non-league football. Martin has been a member of the English Ninety Two Club since 1996 and the Scottish Forty Two Club since 2005.

Coxey’s merged with McAleavy & Co in 2009. He has a strong relationship with clients and gets great satisfaction from assisting businesses to prosper and reach their full potential. Frank has a great interest in horse racing, both as an owner and a fan.

Amanda has been working with Coxeys for a number of years and is a highly skilled member of our audit and accounts team. Amanda's favourite aspect of the job is dealing with complex issues requiring high levels of data analytics.
Tax
Laura joined in 2002 after coming to Coxeys for a month after university and never left. She likes teamwork and enjoys forming strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike. She has a keen interest in genealogy when she’s not at work, plus spending time with her two young children.
FMAAT
Helen joined in 2004 and heads up the business essentials team. She was instrumental in setting up the department as a flexible cost effective option for clients looking for someone to ‘do it all’ or for those clients who want to train to be self-sufficient. Helen has a level 5 diploma in Management and says that the best thing about her job is the flexibility, of being able to balance work with home – especially as she is a busy mum of two.

Lorraine came to Coxeys in 2014 with over 30 years’ experience of working in accountants practice. She is the manager of our office in Saltney, overseeing a small team and has a level 4 diploma in Management. Lorraine enjoys the diversity of her role, meeting clients, preparing accounts and the various management duties required on a daily basis. Lorraine enjoys family holidays, anywhere hot!

Tracy joined the accounts and audit department in September 2017 and has over 20 years practice experience. She enjoys the variety of her role and working as part of a team. Tracy has two young boys and loves spending time with family & friends.
ACA
Kirsty is a member of the accounts and tax team, and has two children Ava and Isaac. Kirsty has an eye for detail and is always happy to help when she can.

Maxine joined the team in 2004. She is based in the Saltney office and enjoys all aspects of her job. She especially enjoys the intricacies of the larger tax clients. Away from work, Maxine enjoys weekends away with family in her VW camper van.

Becky has been with the team since 2010 and payroll department in Chester. She loves to cook, read and sit in the sun!

Lisa first joined Coxeys in 1997 and works in the accounts and Business Essentials departments looking after all aspects of client services. Lisa enjoys nothing more than being with her family and friends.
MAAT
Helen joined the Business Essentials department in 2012 and heads up the Wrexham payroll team. She enjoys scrapbooking and holidays in Disney World.
Senior Administrator
Carole joined Coxeys in 2004 and heads up the administration team. She enjoys the differing roles with admin – no two days are the same. Carole enjoys spending time with her young granddaughter outside of work.

Gill has been working with Charles in Chester for over 25 years! She enjoys eating out, especially with family and friends. Her favourites are steak restaurants.

Nikki is a member of the admin team and helps the accounts and tax department meet filing deadlines. She loves spending time outdoors and raising her three children.
Receptionist
Fran came to Coxeys in 2017 and is the first point of contact for clients. She enjoys meeting new people and loves rising to the challenges that can arise on a daily basis. Fran is a busy working mum and enjoys the flexibility of her role.
Administrator
Lydia is a member of the admin team and helps keep the practice on steady ground! She enjoys Shopping and spending her hard earned cash on the latest fashion.
